A highlight of remote learningAdapting to the virtual setting during COVID-19 was challenging, but allows for opportunities to be creative. This picture came from a Summer 2020 graduate class in which the students explored Indigenous science concepts. In this activity, students were exploring different types of rock and sediment and created their own clay bowls. |
course highlightIn 4102 Themes in Senior Years: Indigenous Cultural Learning in the Senior Years, students get to experience a variety of beadwork styles and techniques. In-class coursework also saw students working with natural plants to create mats and baskets. While remote learning during the virtual setting allowed students to explore mini moccasins and gauntlet mitts. |
